NewActiLife can now use UNC paths for AGD file reading/writing. This means that paths such as '\\server\files\1.agd' can be used without an "unable to open database file" error.

Version 6.10.0 — January 2014

This release brings new initialization methods to wGT3X-BT and wActiSleep-BT devices; Proximity Tagging and Group Initialization (also available to CLE devices). These new initialization methods aid in different activity measurements based on proximity or a group of people or limbs. This release also contains many stability and UI improvements and improves our ability to aid customers with problems.

NewProximity initialization allows studies to be performed using activity correlation to locations a subject might be near. This initialization option allows setting up beacon and receiver devices using Bluetooth devices; wGT3X-BT or wActiSleep-BT devices (starting with MOS).
NewGroup initialization allows studies to 'link' devices in a group (either individuals or limbs on a body) for studying the activity levels for correlation.
NewDevice grid and Feature Extraction grid will show group initialized and proximity tagging initialized devices and files together as well as placeholders for not connected/loaded members of the group.
NewNew 'wizard based' Initialization dialog provides more room for editing subject bio and allows for a step-by-step process of initialization.
NewBluetooth mode of wGT3X-BT and wActiSleep-BT devices are shown in device grid.

This release focuses on improving our device communication considerably. All of our new devices (wGT3X+, wActiSleep+) should no longer have any instances of 'communication issues'. GT3XE devices correctly initialize.

ActiLife 6.5 also introduces compatibility with ANT Wireless PINs to use with our ActiLife Mobile app for iPhone. ActiLife mobile for iPhone is available in the Apple store (iPad compatibility will be available soon).

DEVICE FIRMWARE

ActiLife 6.5 introduces new Firmware to devices with serial numbers that start with NEO (GT3X+ and ActiSleep+). This Firmware significantly improves the battery life of these devices (10-15%) and drastically improved communication reliability on par with our newest devices. This new firmware unifies our firmware across our wGT3X+ and wActiSleep+ devices.

This Firmware is NOT backwards compatible with ActiLife versions 6.2 and older! ActiLife 5 and pre 6.2 installations will not be automatically upgraded, but mixed environments might run into issues where an ActiLife 6 installation upgrades these devices. Please keep this in mind.


Version 6.4.5 — November 2012

Resolves problems opening AGDs that are read only. Provides information when AGDs fail to load (such as when loading files from older version of ActiLife).
